With Electa Live students can be arranged into logical groups. This allows easier searching as well as giving group access permissions to course, live sessions and resources.
Each student can be a member of one or more groups. One group is considered the student's main group. Additional groups can also be assigned.
Student groups are accessible from the Student Management -> Student Groups.
Each group has an ID, Title and Description. A Default Teacher can be assigned. Default Group Teachers have access to the group.
Teachers who are allowed to create their own groups are automatically set as default teachers for all their groups.
Who Can Create Student Groups?
Student groups can be created by all site administrators and only by teachers with the relevant permissions. Site administrators have access to all student groups. Teacher only have access to groups that they are set as default teachers.
